i love listening to the wind in trees. i'd say it reminds me of better times, but they aren't better...just easier times. i can't say i'd ever say better being that would be without the kids. although sometimes i can't believe i have them. life has become so much more complex with them. but i do have much much happier times with them then i did without. i laugh harder and longer.
i took them to the park today, in the morning. it was very cool for such a warm time of year. i sat in the grass while they played alone together. the park was empty and under a cloudfilled sky. sitting with my eyes closed, then laying on the blanket we brought i thought of being up north at any given time. i'd love to live where the weather is like this more often. i thought of 83 when i was at CENTERFUGE in glorieta, nm. a baptist campground for kids. god i loved it there. i adored it. and her, wow how i adored her. lori bowls...
